From a small island of generations of real estate and surfer savvy bloodlines, Jocelyn earned a B.S. in Psychology from the University of Colorado at Boulder, where she ran Division I cross-country and track. She spent all her free time here in the Gunnison valley exploring the mountains on foot, bicycle, and skis. Jocelyn furthered her education to earn a teaching certificate in Colorado, Montana, and Alaska. The next 15 years she spent teaching, traveling, and pursuing her passions for the great outdoors through the wilds of the Northwest, including Alaska, Canada, and Montana all the while raising her three sons and experiencing them to this unique and healthy lifestyle. Living among some of the most beautiful places in the world, Jocelyn chose to settle in this valley because of how special it is. If you ask Jocelyn her reasons for circling back to Crested Butte she says, it is self-explanatory. This community is one of a kind. I feel so fortunate to have found a place so perfect for my children and I to call home.
